Job Summary: The Assistant Manager - Process and Quality Assurance is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality and efficiency of production processes. This role involves the development and implementation of work instructions, process analyses, and quality control systems to enhance product reliability and minimize defects.
Key Responsibilities:

Operational Work Standards (OWS): Develop and maintain comprehensive step-by-step work instructions for each station to ensure consistency and efficiency in production processes.

Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA): Conduct PFMEA to identify potential failures in production processes and implement preventive measures to mitigate risks.

Rework Schedule: Create and manage a rework schedule to efficiently address and rectify any deviations from the standard process.

Lean Agile Defect Management (LADM): Implement LADM practices to streamline defect management and promote continuous improvement in process quality.

Goods Inspection and Tracking System Design: Oversee the design and implementation of inspection systems and tracking mechanisms to ensure the quality of incoming and outgoing materials.

Part Non-Compliance Management Work Instructions: Establish clear guidelines for managing non-compliant parts, including detection, documentation, and corrective actions.

Material Traceability Process: Develop a robust material traceability process to maintain records of material origin, processing, and distribution to ensure quality and compliance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering + Quality Assurance, or related field.

Proven experience in process management and quality assurance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Strong understanding of quality control standards and methodologies.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in data analysis and process improvement tools.

Ability to lead cross-functional teams and projects.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Minimum 3 years of work experience in same domain
