Sr. DevSecOps Engineer

Job Description: Senior DevSecOps Engineer (4-6 years)

Zenatix by Schneider Electric is on the lookout for a dynamic and dedicated DevOps Engineer. This role offers a unique chance to delve deep into our business challenges and devise and implement strategic solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and lead AWS/Azure based DevOps initiatives.
• Develop and maintain end-to-end release management and automation frameworks using open-source tools for continuous integration (CI), continuous deployment (CD), and continuous delivery.
• Implement and manage microservices architecture using Kubernetes (K8s) and Docker Containers.
• Work towards increasing resilience and security of the cloud infrastructure in public cloud environments, including migration strategies.
• Configure and manage web/application servers, with a focus on Nginx.
• Implement and maintain logging and monitoring solutions such as ELK, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Apply working knowledge of security concepts including VPN, firewall, and IPtables in daily tasks.

Essential Skills:

• Cloud Services: In-depth knowledge of Azure, AWS or other cloud services.
• CI/CD Tools: Expertise in Distributed Jenkins.
• Kubernetes & Docker: Proficiency in managing microservices using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Cloud Architecture: Experience with public cloud providers, focusing on scalability, high-availability and resilient architectures.
• Web/Application Server & Database: Strong experience with Nginx, Postgres.
• Monitoring & Alerting Solutions: Hands-on experience with EFK, Prometheus, Grafana, Amazon CloudWatch/Azure Monitor.
• Security & Networking: Solid understanding of networking in cloud & security concepts including VPNs, firewalls, IPtables.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Activities like Upgrades, TLS certificate renewal etc. and troubleshooting and resolving reported infrastructure issues.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in managing cloud infra on Azure/AWS for a large customer
• Experience with DRP using Terraform scripts
• Experience with Kafka for message streaming.
• Familiarity with Druid for data-intensive applications.
• Knowledge of Apache Airflow for workflow management.
